Christian Songs Needed

Christian songs should also be commercial as well, as described under songs wanted. Duck River Music is looking for Christian (Jesus) songs with the following subject matter right now:

  1. We are looking for songs relating salvation experience – i.e. how someone/you were born again or saved or met Jesus.
  2. We are looking for songs about your relationship and/or experiences with Jesus or how the Jesus in someone’s life is affecting you.
  3. We are looking for songs that mention/use the name of Jesus in the lyrics. Songs that make Jesus the star of the show. The scriptures say that Jesus is the only name under heaven by which man can be saved.
  4. We are looking for songs that are the result of a person’s special relationship with the Lord. This is where you allow the Holy Spirit to write through you. This is where you do not rely on talent, intellect, skills or own efforts, but give yourself over to the Holy Spirit to work through you. The results are very special songs indeed.

DRM asks people to be themselves. We believe that the best songs come out of the heart as you share your own personal experiences. This also may mean not following the crowd or being in style. Do not try to write like anyone else or what they are writing about.
